I wish I was close by to help you out. be very careful about buying
an '83 650 with 41k on the clock for $600. I wouldn't buy it for
that much unless it was in exceptional condition and still not with
that many miles, not an '83

and im not running at full throtle on the highway and still getting
passed by grandma... The 250 is great for in town running, but with
an hour commute and me at 6'3" and 260 pounds i just need a bigger
bike

I was just trying to get an idea whether the 650 is worth as much as
your bike.

The smaller bike is a 1999 cb250 miles unknown (previous owner
dumped it and the odometer got messed up, so its got a junkyard
part there) but its in generaly good health... I could ride it up
to PA to you, but i wouldent survive the trip

What is your smaller bike, age and mileage, etc?

Good but would be in great with $32.50 in parts... The exaust
gasket keeps blowing out... The gasket is only $2.50, but the
keepers get lost when it goes, and there $30 for the pair... And it
only takes 10min to install with a 10mm wrench

How much are they asking for the 83 650?

So, tomorrow i might be trading my 250 for an 83 650....
Problem is
the ad says that the instrument cluster is non-functional... Other
then that the only issue is that it has 41k miles.... Any idea
what
might cause the instrument cluster to go out???
Thanks guys i hope this deal goes through... I need a bigger bike
