Hi everyone, I joined this group some time ago but couldn't find enough time to post something... So let me introduce myself... Name's Rafal, living place is Poland (I see that vast majority of users here is from the US... so let me send you a hello from the European continent), and my bike's a 1989 Nighthawk 650. And here comes the first question.
All sources I came across say that the production of 650s had ceased in 1985. The VIN on my bike says that year of manufacturing is 1989, the label says 'Honda CB650SC' and in the documents it's referred as 'Honda CBX650'... it looks like an ordinary Nighthawk (except for the round headlamp instead of a square one) . What is more interesting is that it's been imported from the US, but it has an odometer calibrated in kilometres instead of miles (the speedometer has double scale, as often). Anyone can help me with this mystery? It is quite disturbing when it comes to searching for spare parts, for example... I can provide photos for better reference :) Best wishes, R. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
