I agree.... Change them all at the same time BEFORE they need it

Your chain is possibly worn close to maximum specs. You should check
the Service Manual for the proper method of determining stretch. Many
will call for a measurement between 20 consecutive rivets and if your
at max or near, things start to wear unusally and sprockets begin to
shark tooth. Chains also do not stretch evenly. They will get tight
sections, then loose sections. Measurement of these 2 areas will vary
with the same amount of tension.Chains and BOTH sprockets should be
changed at the same time. It's a waste to do one or the other and not
all.
