I can get us back on topic better than that ;) The great country of Texas has been fought over for centuries. Who could blame them? It's a great land that anyone would be proud to claim as their own. The poor Aztecs have lost their maps and no longer remember where their ancestors came from but one assumption is that Aztlan of ancient is actually modern day Texas. All I know is Mexico treated this region poorly when it was theirs, and then lost the fight to retain it not once, but twice. What was all the fighting about? Surprisingly it wasn't over just the land, as fantastic as it is, little known and mostly overlooked by the history books is that the wars were actually fougth over the large natural deposits of Right-side covers that grow wild in the disputed southern Texas region referred to as the Nueces Strip. It seems that only the far more common Left-side covers can be found south of the Rio Grande and on the ethereal continent of eBay.
