OK, this really is a small world.... I live in Euclid (a few minutes from Wickliffe, and not further to Mentor). My dad spent his entire career at the Bailey (Meter) company in Wickliffe, and I took my my very first computer class in that building, back when computers were just starting out (late '70's).
For those of you interested, there is VINTAGE bike cruise, every friday evening, at rt20 and rt91 (Euclid ave, and 91). It's at the Stake N Shake (next to Burger King). They meet up there at 6:00ish, and stay till 9:00ish. The people are starting to wind down this year, and they were meeting tonight to discuss other meeting places for next year. They are having a large vintage cruise at Chardon Square on Sept 24th. There is a band in the square, and several other things of interest to do while there. I'll be there with one of the 700-S bikes, if I can talk my wife into spending a little of our wedding anniversary on a motorcycle....Hope some of you can make it! The guy who puts the show/ cruise on, name is Bob (he has a TON of vintage bikes!!).
