Hi Matt, The friday events always start around 6:00, but most people arrive after that (I've never been there before 6:45). The did it last month (august) for the first time, and there was a good turn out (more than the last 2 moths at S & S as attendance has been dying down).
As for other riding...I make it a point to go to "bike night" down in the Valley, at Quaker Steak n Lube. My fellow 700-S rider and myself are there every wed it's nice out; even though we are almost always the only 2 700-S out of 5000 bikes. This past wed a guy I met 2 weeks ago while there, met me up there with his RWB 700-S, which was cool to see another one with us. Hopefully weatehr will be nice again this wed, so we can get together again.
