It is lightweight, impervious to wind and amazingly warm for what it is. Wearing it over a pair of jeans and under my textile jacket with the liner removed makes me sweat at 50, keeps me warm down to 40, and is a little cool in the 30s. Mind you my commute is an hour at 50 to 75MPH. Now if only my insulated leather gauntlets did as well.
