Subject: [Nighthawk Lovers] engine problem.

Recently bought a 1997 Nighthawk 750 with 22,000 miles on it. It is easy to
see why everyone seems so excited about owning one of these. I do too. Rode
many years ago and am in love with doing it again.

Problem: Starts and runs great EXCEPT ****** At about 65 or 70 mph when I
attempt to punch it to get around someone it stalls for just parts of a
second, then revs up and off I go. This isn't just an instant hesitation,
it is dramatic enough to cause me to feel like I have put the break on or
turned the key off for just an instant. Like I said earlier it runs like a
top otherwise. Any help would be appreciated.
