I have an '82 Nighthawk 450 with some speedometer issues and I'm wondering where to begin my troubleshooting. The speedometer isn't working, however the odometer and trip meter are working normally. Could this be a simple case of the cable going bad? Or, is it more likely something has gone amiss internally. I would like to find some answers before I start replacing parts. Thanks!
