Thanks for the info. I think that's the direction I will be going. It seems on the older Bikes you don't have much of a choice on tires.

Grip is good and a rear lasts approx 8-9K miles. I do short rides on different bikes and never long enough on any of them to be knowledgeable. Here's what I've got: On the '85 Nighthawk in the pic I have Shinko Tour Masters. On one Nighthawk 700S I have Dunlop D404's and the other 700S I have Bridgestone Battlax's. I have Pirellis on a Kawasaki 454LTD and Kendas on 3 or 4 other bikes. I have Dunlop k505 on my '02 Nighthawk 750 and Shinkos on a '91 Nighthawk 750. I've heard others say the Battlax were good and also the Pirellis. The Bridgestones felt good on the 700S, the one test ride I've done on it, so do the Dunlops on my 750 Nighthawk. I'm really not savvy enough or experienced enough of a rider to be the expert here, Graham On Mar 2, 2011, at 4:09 PM, Bassam Khalil wrote: > Graham, > > What kind of tires do you have on the bike?
