Yea - looks like I have to replace the shocks. Anybody have some from
a parts bike that are in good working order they can part with? Bets
price I've been able to find is $210 for some progressive shocks. I'm
sure they're much better than stock but my bike is worth maybe $1,400
bucks here in Hawaii.

Lately I've been feeling the bumps in the road more than normal. I
thought it was tire pressure, my back tire was bout 5lbs low.
However, this morning as I was getting off my bike I heard a sound
like air being sucked into something and at the same time the back of
my bike went up an inch or so.

I've seen threads about replacing front fork seals but not rear
shocks. So a couple of questions:
1 - is it a rebuild like the front forks?
2 - will I need a spring compressor like you do for a car?
3 - I can do minor stuff but I'm not the most mechanically gifted -
how hard is this to do?
4 - any manuals / instructions out there?
