I had exactly the same experience. Mine broke too, and I just use super glue to put it back together. It was supposed to be a "temporary" solution while I ordered a new one. I completely forgot (until now), and it is being like a year since that happened. If you find the part somewhere please let me know. In in mean time. you could just use super glue or similar.
