They are a de-tuned CBR900 with a standard frame. A real wheelie machine, I 
almost bought one instead of my VFR800 thanks Javier! Glad I got the VFR though 
it is more comfortable, stable, and powerful. Personally of the super standards 
of the early 2000s I'd pick the kawasaki zrx1200 it looks like a GPZ750 (think 
NH700S), and it has a fully adjustable suspension (919 only has preload), 
stiffer frame, and over 20 HP and FT/LBS more than the 919. A real muscle bike.
