@Joey: no, I haven't, but I will look into it. I use a couple of
tools in Linux which are very powerful. Perhaps the disc is
toasted, but I've seen many Computer guys giving up on drives
because the first sector went bad or just because their particular
tool doesn't work. I hear there are pretty neat tools for mac too.
