I recently purchased a 1983 Nighthawk 650 with a Windjammer fairing and matching hard side bags and trunk. While I'm not sure I like the look of a full fairing, its in excellent shape so not sure I want to cut and run.
The previous owner had the wings off so increase the airflow accross the motor, but even without them it seems to run quite hot, especially on a hot summer day. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you feel I'd be better off purchaing the original headlamp assembly, turn signals and possibly a windshield? I realize that much of this is subjective, so your opinions are welcomed.
