I'm guessing this is a 750. They do have a bit of a vibe problem around 2500, so anything thats loose will be amplified. I would suspect the mechanic left something in the clutch area. Grab a piece of tubing or hose to put up to your ear... try to better locate the noise.
Edit... rock in the engine noise? kind of like the sound that a bearing makes when going bad? that non-consistent, unsteady clicking noise?
