What year bike? On my 90s 750 it's easy to POP the tank off to do them.

So there I am, spark plugs and gap tool in hand, ready to replace the
spark plugs. I replace cylinders 1 and 4 first cause they were easy.
Then I attempt #3 cause I figured it would be the hardest with the
tach cable in the way. I move the cable out of the way, no problem. I
try to get the the deep well socket into the hole to get to the plug
and no joy. Is there any handy dandy tool to get in there? I have a
tool kit on ebay in my sights but I's like a closer/cheaper option.
Will a standard 18mm Craftsman/Snapon spark plug socket fit in the
hole? ( I have everything but an 18mm. With three kids my 'allowance'
is alittle tight.

Thanks

Dave
