*Allen, those are excellent suggestions...especially the garden shed idea.
Back in 1980 (or thereabouts) my wife and I bought a house sans garage, but
the place had a garden/tool shed off to the side of the house. It worked
great for housing my Goldwing, except that the doors wouldn't close properly
as they were originally set up. They were like closet doors that slide on a
track. We pulled them out and attached hinges giving us a slight edge on
getting them closed once the bike was inside. It was a fun project and it
worked great.
