i had a 99 cb250 and it lived on the street for 3 years before it got sold, now my goldwing lives on the street. it was always my daily driver and never realy got washed or waxed... and it was still a great bike. the only reason to worry about covering it up is if your not going to be pulling it out for several days. BTW i lives on the coast in florida where we get alot of salt and humidity...
