about 25 years ago i wanted to run over to wear a buddy worked. about a mile or so away. summer time warm, i was wearing shorts. i jumped on the bike and about 40 mph a bee hit my chest and fell straight down. started stinging me on the inside of my thigh. wanting to climb off the bike at that speed trying to stand up and ride and get the bee away must have been a sight. last time i have ever worn shorts while riding.

This past Saturday I scooted over to nearby Boise, Idaho on my motorcycle. It was HOT and on the way home I was cruising along on the freeway with my riding jacket on. I was quite warm, so I unzipped the ends of the jacket sleeves so the wind would blow up my arms and help cool me a little. Problem was, as I drove along, a bee went up my right arm and preceded to sting me about 4 times on the wrist and forearm. OUCH!! That was an interesting experience cruising down the road at 75 MPH. I still have some pretty good welts on my arm.
