I have the original Manta (not the xl). The size is good, I think it could be a bit wider but if the XL is any longer than you may have issues so be sure to check that. The original has a see-through window that will fit a widescreen GPS. The cell phone window is functional, but it is very difficult to push any buttons on your phone through the window and with gloves on. The bright sun can make it impossible to see the screen. You have to create a shade with your left hand to be able to see it sometimes... which is kind of distracting. Personally I put an MP3 player in the phone compartment and built a volume control on the side with a huge knob, that way I dont have to look at it or fiddle with it when riding. Decent build quality, I havent had anything tear or malfunction. The magnets are very secure, just make sure to never slide the magnets across the tank... it will scratch your paint. Don't slide, just pick it up and re-position. Same goes for removing the bag... pick each magnet up individually without sliding. Good luck finding the perfect bag! Let us know how it goes.
