My bike is making a rattling sound, so I adjusted the cam chain, but the noise persists. I attempted to adjust the balancing chain, but the alleged 8mm nut didn't seem to be 8, or 9 or 10 mm, or something else was preventing me from turning it one way or t'other. Anyone have mad skills at this procedure? It is one that has the dreaded double asterisk (take to the dealer) in the Service Manual, but it seems like a pretty straightforward adjustment. As always, any help much appreciated.
