As I mentioned recently, I'm now moving on to an overhaul of an '83 CB650SC. Brake Master Cylinder, both Front Calipers, and Clutch Slave Cylinder are on my "clean and rebuild" list. Also planning to disassemble, clean and reseal the carburetors before resetting them to a factory setting (Tweaking will ensue from there, of course). Also fork oil and dust seals, as these are visibly cracked.
Looking for a good place to find rebuild kits for the CSC and the carburettors. I have an e-bay seller that I've bought several bits from lately (PeakMoto-powersports) that has been a stand up seller (I think they're a dealer?) at reasonable prices. Found a couple others with good ratings selling caliper and BMC kits, but the clutch slave is eluding me. Any recommendations? Also, though this might well be an "oil thread" topic: brake pads and shoes, preferred brands? I went with EBC for the 750, because I recognized the brand from cars, but is there a better value out there?
