I would NOT lube my chain with WD-40. It is JUNK. I will also not tempt an oil/lube thread here, but will say that there are excellent chain lubes on the market, some even in that cursed place, Wally World... They even carry it at automotive houses, like O'Reiley and AutoZone, where it seems to cist less than at bike shops...
