A couple years ago my left side cover came off, I felt something hit my leg but didnt know what it was until I parked the bike and noticed it missing. The next day, I went back to the spot I felt it hit my leg and actually found it. In pretty good shape. Put it all back on thinking I should figure a way to keep them from coming off again. Putting it all off too long it came off again, on the freeway again. Went back to try and find it, this time it didnt fair as well. Got ran over, busted up bad. I took me 2 years to find one on Ebay. Still looking for the Nighthawk 750 badge to go on it. Now I have zip ties to keep them from flying off. Mack 1982 750 Nighthawk
