To give you some idea.. I bought a RWB 86 700s a couple years ago... at that time, it had a couple small imperfections on the tank, and had been laid down before I bought it (but repaired well), and had about 17k miles on it for $1400. Now the bike has a little more than 27k miles on it, new handles, new tires, will have a new paint job, etc...
