Hey everybody, So I own my Nighthawk 750 from '93 since a couple of weeks now and enjoy it very very much. I have pulled one stupid stunt already: I laid it on its side when trying to push it up a curb (the stupid part was me not sitting on the bike but standing next to it). Luckily there wasn't a lot of damage: nothing on the tank or other painted parts, but the rear brake handle was bent a little (easily repaired) and the front brake handle was curved forwards. So it looked like a banana, or a big smile :-). I was able to push it back into its original curve with a vice grip, but now I need a new front brake handle asap, since the aluminum has bent it has lost some of its strength. I wouldn't like my brake to snap off when I need to do an emergency stop...
But I don't know how to look for a fitting front brake handle on the internet. The options for an actual Nighthawk brake handle are scarce (I live in Europe) and I don't know how else to look for it. So my question is: What types of bikes have the same front brake handle as a '93 750NH, or what kind of search term could I use to look for a new one? Thanks for any advice you can give me, you would sure help this newbie out! :-) Greetings, Veerle -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Nighthawk Motorcycle Lovers!" group.
