Starter is bad. I know he rebuilt it but it sounds like it is heat soaking.

If it was a bad battery why would it turn over like it should after the bike is cold. I thought it may have been the charging system and the battery recovered after sitting for a while and thus the bike would start. Any suggestions, any one had similar problem?
