360* engines are easier to get basic balance with a fairly simple balance
shaft, because their moving parts effectively make one big single-cylinder
engine. It's my understanding that the 180* can be natively more balanced,
but are harder to get beyond that point because of their
fire-skip-skip-fire ignition pattern.

I see a lot of 360* twins versus 180* twins.
