So, I brought the bike in to a shop that is really close to my house for a
checkup (wasn't starting) last Friday. Today I get a call telling me there
is absolutely no oil and the engine is gone. The strange part is, I had
brought it to another shop in August last year and they did a complete
tune-up, carb re-build, and new air filter, oil change, etc. This mechanic
is telling me, however, that the air filter was never touched, the oil was
never replaced, and the carbs look like they weren't touched by a mechanic
either. What's worse is I can't find the receipt from the previous work
order. Is this just the worst luck in the universe? Should I leave the
world of motorcycles for good?

What should I do???

Sincerely,
Sad guy without a bike
