*Honestly this kind of thing doesn't surprise me. I think the majority of Harley riders (notice I didn't say "all") choose that bike more for the image it produces than for ride or performance. I was chatting with the previous owner of the bike I just bought, and he was telling me about some of his past motorcycles. He said he bought a couple HDs in the past and never had more mechanical problems than with those two bikes.
