to adjust the idle screws or pilot screws for my 84 700 the base is
two turns out. the repair book (I would recomend you get one if you
don't have one) warns about damage to the pilot screw if it is
tightened against the seat so be carful and good luck. this is not a
hard job in my opinion. I have only owned my bike for 1 year now and
it is my first. but I have done a lot of work to her. so far I have
put on nearly 5K miles and am a dialy rider in the pac. n.w.
