Allright guys as promised, here's the photos of the 1996 Nighthawk 750 I am
about to sell.

As you guys are always so cool I'm going to even show it to you unwashed.
(I just had surgery and can't really be doing crap like that yet)

it's a 1996 and has about 13.8k Miles.

* small amount of rust on lower pipes, on spark plug, and on various chrome
items. Needs some polish. It was like this when I bought it.
* rubber on left foot peg is going and needs to be replaced at some point.
* my left front turn signal is kind of flaky and just needs some inspection
* it's been run at least every 3 weeks even during the "cold" season here
in FL.

Tires are in pretty good condition. She runs wonderfully and reliably and
has never, ever left me stranded.

Make a realistic offer and it's yours. I just need money for grad school
and my wife says I get to either have a car or bike but not both =(

  <http://groups.google.com/group/nighthawk_lovers/t/38dc21b8d82b5a2b> How
to sell a parts bike?? No experience

Stefano Ascari <[email protected]> Apr 08 10:30PM -0500

Hi everyone,
As you learned earlier last month my NH died on me (cyl #3 is shot with
70psi on the compression test) and valve tappers and camshaft are worn. Cyl
probably needs re-boring.

However, many other parts on the bike are in great condition (some I
replaced). I know tires (both are new) are hard to resell. But everything
else is in great condition. I posted it on craigslist and I want to sell it
at a fair price. I'm also looking to push it out of my garage. Someone
offered me 300 for it.

Oh right. Bike is: 84 NH 650sc

Any suggestions on pricing? Parts? Anyone need parts? Let me know. ** sigh
** she was my first love.

Stefano

Across Virginia

zgotts <[email protected]> Apr 08 07:44PM -0700

Blacksburg to Richmond and back on a NH 750 this weekend, avoiding
interstate at all costs. Advice to travelers: Stick to the western
side of Virginia. And the Blue Ridge Parkway is VA's gift to
motorcycles.

Its been a while since I've taken a trek on this thing, and it did not
disappoint. Such a great all-around bike. Well-mannered at all times,
then it screams in the twisties catching up to the squids. Comfy and
cheap... love it. Why again did they stop making this thing??

where you got those?

Blikers party: Success

Javier Garcia <[email protected]> Apr 08 11:09AM -0400

So the blinker party when pretty well. I got these pics at a pit stop on
our way to Graham's place, but then my stupid phone died. I think Jason has
a prove of our accomplishments.
Javier.

Jason King <[email protected]> Apr 08 11:19AM -0400

Here is the picture of the proof! lol

Graham Rogers <[email protected]> Apr 08 02:21PM -0400

yep, once we got the correct volume of fluids in the blinkers and with Jason
and Allen interpreting the wiring diagram, Javier and I were able to slowly
back away from the bike , shut up and just watch, Graham

Did you guys use premium blinker fluid? Otherwise you're going to need to
change it every three months...

(Also, nice bikes. I love Honda's RWB color schemes.)

Graham, we were the master minds behind the project. By doing nothing we
led them towards the right answer. I found the pictures of my first visit.
I wonder how is your cousin doing? BTW, didn't you take more pics yesterday
too?

Javier.

Right Javier, imagine how much longer it would have taken them had we been
involved. Here's the three amigos that did about 7 hours of riding to fix
the nonblinkin blinkers, Graham

What I learned with my Goldwing is that you have to be careful which
rectifier you buy. The PO put a new one that came bad. I was told by the GW
gurus to only buy shenanigans. Not sure if this is also true for the NH.
