Hey Ron; I've had both. Had two chain Enduro & Street, and now two streets with shafts, NH 700S & BMW K1200LT.
I notice the chain more on the street bike more than the enduro. I certainly don't miss the chain maintenance/mess that goes along with it. Although there's maintenance w/shaft drives as well, they are alot quiter. You don't here the hush sound as you do with chain drives.
