I tested it at the connector on the right side behind the battery. The 
power wire is Green/Yellow, the ground (of course) is Green. The first 
thing I discovered was that they didn't properly attach the bullet 
connectors to the wires the trunk came with. They seem to have neglected to 
strip the wire ends prior to crimping on the connectors. They are crimped 
to insulation, not conductor. Hard to pass electrons though insulation.

Next, the cheapo faux scotch-loks I'm trying to connect the trunk wires 
into aren't making contact with the original (and surprisingly stout) Honda 
wires. I'm going to keep working at it, and replace the bullet connectors 
with the two-prong connectors they use to connect lights on RVs. Easy to 
plug and unplug and more weather-proof.

Any other ideas about how to splice the trunk wires in?
