In my tenure owning one, I found that if stressed hard enough it felt like the swing arm flexes, though that could be my inexperience showing, and it is simply due to having 2 rear shocks fighting against each other. Also I notices that if the pavement isn't great and your leaned over hard, you can get some rear oscillation that would eventually upset the front end and provide pucker moments. Granted that was with stock rear shocks, I'm sure replacement units with rebound dampening would help greatly. The comment about a more capable bike comes from comparing my NH to my VFR. If you ride the two bikes it is apparent that the VFR is more stable, and I can ride it consistently 10 MPH faster through any turn. But the NH was never designed to be a sport bike, however it is really surprising how good of one it makes despite that fact.
