I use my gl1200 full dress as my daily driver. Granted thats normaly 45 miles each way, but there is alot of in town in that. I dont think of it as heavy or awkward. It is fast off the line and PLENTY of top end. Super smooth, quiet, and tons of lockable cargo room. I think its a great all around bike
