Have you tried Seafoam? It cures EVERYTHING! Stuck Carb Floats, High
Blood Pressure, the plague, etc.

in all seriousness - its probably the carb float as
suggested - some floats will be eaten by gas over time and develop a
pin hole in them which stops them from floating and in effect never
allows them to shut off the gas flow.
