Well, if the engine is rattling I would back away. Look for obvious signs of it being laid down, like marks on the engine or uneven tailpipes. Check that the forks and seals are ok. That all the lights and gauges work. It says it's missing a shifter spring so you may not be able to ride it, but make sure the gears shift fine, especially 2nd. The exhaust headers and carbs look a little rusty in the photo, make sure they're not too bad. In the end you are just looking at a $650 bike though.
