If you have nice, smooth roads, a little over max load won't hurt.
But if you have lousy roads like we have where i live i'd "x" some of that 
weight.  The stress will take its toll in due time.
Yes we have seen some real overloads from some pics but the speeds we can 
attain put greater stress on the suspension and frame  when going up and down 
through dips in the road.
