What kind of oil are you using?

Try draining the oil and refilling with Rotella T (the plain stuff,
not the synthetic T5 or T6) and a new filter. Retain the old oil,
dilute some of it with gas and strain it thru a coffee filter, looking
for minute shavings of metal or clutch plate material.

If metal, there's an internal engine problem. If clutch plate
coating, it's clutch related and a Rotella refill may take care of it
with no further action required.
