Thanks for the info: Yes I have a high bid on a stator on ebay, been chasing it now at $125.00 (couple of days left) I was hoping to buy one from something/somewhere in somebody's existing all the Honda shops on the web seem to not have any old stock on this item.
The rewinding shop is also a good idea, I know where one is, I will check that out also.
