I bought a new one for $120 from electrosport. I'm not sure they carry your 
bike but I'd bet they would recondition yours. Seriously check with them and 
rick's before paying more than $50 on ebay. Also see if you can find a local 
alternator shop. Or read up on it you can rewire yourself, stator winding isn't 
hard. I have done it on a small DIY brushless motor for R/C.

(couple of days left)
I was hoping to buy one from something/somewhere in somebody's existing all
the Honda shops on the web seem to not have any old stock on this item.

The rewinding shop is also a good idea, I know where one is, I will check
that out also.

Craiglist has a basket case engine for $200.00, it's fairly/far away, and I
will have $100.00 in gas, might be junk.
