On your first issue, which light are you referring to? Do you mean you have
brake light function in the tail but not running light? Have you checked
the bulbs for broken filaments?

On your second issue: you mention that you're going into and out of
neutral, apparently tied to the clutch lever. Do you mean that your neutral
light on the cluster comes on when you fully depress the clutch, and goes
out again halfway depressed, or do you know mechanically that your
transmission is shifting into neutral?
