Hey guys,
Me and a buddy have begun stripping down my '83 CB550SC for a full
restoration from the frame up.

While we don't intend on perm-modding the bike, we were planning on a
few part swaps (Mainly the handlebars, speedo, circle headlight, and
adding forward controls).

I've been searching around online, looking at handlebar types, and
we've settled on "Drag Style Handlebars" as our styling choice.

Now, I've seen a rather wide range in pricing for what otherwise
appears to be the same thing; I'm talking ~$15 all the way up to
~$300.

I've found these bars but I'm a bit skeptical because I'm fully aware
that you get what you pay for:

http://www.faymyersparts.com/Emgo-Street-Handlebar--Drag-Bend--Black-Black-23-12570_p_338435.html

We'd like to get this project done for as little investment as
possible, but at the same time I don't want to spend $15 and get a POS
part that will bend the fist time I grab it, so I'm not against
spending a little more, but I'm not sure where that cut off point is
before the cost is no longer justified.

So, opinions on aftermarket handlebars?

Oh, and I know I'm going to also need 7/8" diameter risers, too.

Thanks guys!

Peace
Sean

(PS- Yes, pics from start to finish will be taken, just took the
"before" pic last night!)
