I prefer the lower bars on a bike because they force your back into good 
posture. The foot pegs may need to come back some to keep the rider triangle 
proper.

My experience with drag bars was awful. I can't imagine drag bars and
forward controls being remotely comfortable.

They definitely promoted putting far too much weight on your hands, and
even with risers were hitting the tank on my '93.
