I never leave my driveway without a helmet, jacket, gloves, jeans, and sturdy boots. Because of the cold I also had winter pants over my jeans. My right glove and the right sleeve of my jacket are shredded. Also the right knee of my winter pants are torn up as is the toe of my right boot. One of the firemen that stopped thanked me for wearing all that gear. You never want to go down but even at 20mph this could have been much worse without it.
