That was me, sorta. My 700S *came* with 650 forks, I just recently finished the transition back to stock. I bought all the 700 parts on eBay for the most part, just had to be patient. I wouldn't recommend putting the 650 front end on a 700, more hassle than it's worth because you'll have to replace the brakes, fender, etc and much everything but the wheel itself. It also lowers the bike to a point where the side stand is no longer useful. All of that said, it did seem to ride and handle ok and as we've noticed some of the overseas (asian market) versions of the 700 have that front end. So the geometry is ok, I just wouldn't recommend it.
