You might use it as an opportunity to justify new.

I've been checking out the digital tach/speedo combos, for when mine
gives up the ghost.  Acewell, Koso and Dakota Digital are some brand
names to Google.

Pretty impressive and compact and some allow one-time odometer match
on install to keep mileage accurate.
