Haven't tried the key code trick and can't really because, like I say, the ignition was replaced by the PO, so I have one key for the ignition and one for the gas and helmet. I took the keys to 2 different locksmiths in Ohio and the keys did not work when I got back to Atlanta. One warned the new ignition blank did not look like a Honda blank at all and he didn't know what it could be. WOW motorcycles in Marietta say that they have someone come once a month on a certain day between certain hours to make duplicate keys. Sheesh, really? I have to put that on my calendar and be there? Actually, I've never tried with a bonafied Honda dealer. Maybe that's what I should be doing. Hope I never lose the keys I have, that's for sure.
